2Pac – Back From The Dead Lyrics

Straight out the casket, risin' up
Open up your eyes, can't you see me
What the fuck is this, madness
Pick up my bones, erase my name from off the tombstones
Alive and kickin', breathin' the air
Call out my name punk and I'll be there
No question, my suggestion to the action
Caught smack dab in the middle of the blastin'
Messin' with me, you're messin' with the best
Blough, you're takin' two shots to the chest

Chorus
'Cause I'm back from the dead
Everlast's comin' back from the dead (back from the dead)
You know I'm back from the dead
And I'll put a friggin' hole in your head
Back from the dead
Back from the dead

You can't disrespect it, I'm the resurrected
Back from the dead, just to mess with your head
I'll stress what I said, but I won't repeat it
If you've got a cold, starve it
If you've got a fever, feed it
And if you can't feed it, then why not blow
You might be positive and not even know
I rock the hardcore from the floor to the ceilin'
I give sexual healin', I'll get your girlie squealin'
Like a pig, my grave's somethin' you can never dig
I'll rock a mausoleum, backyard or colosseum

Chorus ii
'Cause I'm back from the dead
Everlast's comin' back from the dead (back from the dead)
You know I'm back from the dead
House of Pain's in effect, 'nuff said

Skip the autopsy, 'cause I never O. D. 'd
I only puff boom kid I never get skeemed
I don't sniff or shoot up, rip I'll stick my boot up
Your ass quick fast Everlast don't jive
Just like Pearl Jam, I'm still alive
Spreadin' like tumors, gossip and lies
Exaggerated reports of my demise, and if you believed'em
Well then you got gassed, the media deceived'em
Just like in the past

Chorus

Like Steven Segal I'm hard to kill
And like G. G. Allen I'm crazy ill
I'll beat ya down with my mic
Kick your ass with my Nike
Bust ya in the eye if ya tell another lie
Ashes to ashes, dust to dust
Thinkin' I'm dead you must be smokin' dust
Come see me bust in the flesh it's a must

Chorus ii

Back from the dead

Don’t Allow My Son Into Your Studio – Sarkodie’s Mum

It has been established that Sarkodie’s mum at a point in time was also one of the dream killers Sarkodie had to deal with when he started his music journey.

If a tweet by Pharuk Jbreal, the artiste behind ‘Pressure’, a song that is quickly becoming a street anthem in Ghana, is anything to go by, then indeed Sarkodie had been through a lot before he hit the limelight.

The tweet disclosed how Sarkodie’s mum went to Nana Fynn’s studio to warn him not to allow her son (Sarkodie) to his studio.

A lot of musicians can related to this situation and will attest to the fact that family can be one of the biggest challenges that confronts an upcoming musician.

When Pharuk Jbreal was contacted to elaborate on the tweet, he explained that he decided to share that experience to inspire people with dreams to be reasonably stubborn for their dreams and follow Sarkodie’s shining example.

He further affirmed that Sarkodie’s mum made it clear to Nana Fynn that music is taking Sarkodie’s attention from his education and that she was worried.

“I happen to know Sarkodie before he became a big star and even had songs with him, he hasn’t changed in terms of character, he is not into drugs and lives quite a decent life. It is obvious that his mum is proud of what her son has turned out to be. I have seen her at some of his events and it says it all. I can understand his mother’s concerns at that time, there are quite some disturbing stories about musicians out there and as a mother you can only be vigilant and look out for your child. I’m sure Sarkodie will one day get a degree or even go beyond that, education is not a race,” Pharuk Jbreal said.

Pharuk Jbreal who was formally known as Ruky is making a comeback to music after dropping the mic to pursue some corporate ambitions. He found himself in the energy sector and later proceeded to head a multinational company.

“I was on the last chapter of my yet to be launched book called Your Passion Your Paycheck, when the inspiration came for me to get back to what I love, which is music. Sarkodie has also been quite instrumental for my comeback. Anytime we meet, he makes it a point to encourage me to come back to music because he feels my creative ability is amazing,” Pharuk Jbreal added.

He also revealed that he will use his music to support developmental issues such as Youth in Agriculture and Zongo communities’ empowerment.

Afia Schwarzenegger Acted “Bushy” At The 2016 GMA – Lil Win’s Publicist

The 2016 Ghana Movie Awards has come to a successful end and the good and bad moments at Kimpinksy hotel yesternight is what our team is bringing to the public.

The organizers of the award has given this phase of the award-project a wonderful definition; superb and we would like to commend them for that.
To the main issue, we all witnessed how “unprofessional” it was for Ellen Korkor Asante, who plays Afia Schwarzenegger in the TV series jumped on stage to pick an award for Ghana’s favorite actor, Kwadwo Nkansah Lil Win.
We seem not to be the only people who saw that act not necessary, so at the back stage, we caught up with Lil Win’s publicist, Emmanuel Bossu Kule Arhin, who added his voice to what happened on stage.
Mr Emmanuel said, he doesnt know how Ellen got on stage and who even tasked her for that.

HONESTLY SPEAKING, I DONT KNOW WHO TOLD HER TO GO FOR THE AWARD ON OUR BEHALF. WHAT SHE DID WAS SO NOT RIGHT BUT I HAD TO ACT AS IF EVERYTHING WAS FINE WITH ME WHEN I GOT ON STAGE TO SEE HER BUT WELL, GLORY BE TO GOD FOR THIS AWARD.
YOU SEE, WHEN I GOT ON STAGE TO SEE HER, I ASKED MYSELF, WHO IS SHE? IS SHE THE ONE GIVING US THIS AWARD OR WHAT? WELL LET ME JUST WAIT AND SEE WHATS NEXT…SO THEN, I HEARD HER DELIVER SOME NONFA STUFFS WHICH NO ONE AT THE VENUE COMPREHENDS. THING IS, IT IS DONE NO WHERE THAT, ANYONE CAN GO PICK AN AWARD FOR A BRAND, UNLESS THEY ARE TASKED TO DO SO, OR PART OF THE MANAGEMENT. AND WITH HER CASE, NO ONE ASKED HER TO DO THAT, AND ALSO SHE ISNT PART OF THE MANAGEMENT. ELLEN HAS CALLED A BIG DISGRACE UPON HERSELF BY ACTING BUSHY AND UNPROFESSIONAL. SERIOUSLY? DID SHE REALLY DO THAT? MANAGEMENT ISNT HAPPY WITH WHAT ELLEN DID AND I HOPE SHE LEARNS FROM THIS AND STARTS CREATING A POSITIVE TAG FOR HERSELF AS A BRAND. MR EMMANUEL ADDED….
We think Ellen exceeded her limit with her actions and speech yesternight. Congratulations to Lil Win for the award.

You’ve probably hear this song playing over and over again the your favourite radio station. It’s a cover of R2Bees – Life performed by Yaayaa and Caroline.

LYRICS: M.anifest – god Mc (Prod By Dream Jay)

VERSE 1
I pull up on the feature, screaming hallelujah
In a barracuda smoking buddha in fallujah
Clash of the titans i had dinner with medusa
Don’t turn me into stone, boy I’m a ruler
They sipping amarula me i kick it with a cougar
Tonight will be lit, super
Califragilisticexpiali I’m precocious
These dudes you call cool, atrocious
Don’t get intoxicated by these drunkards
They run on prejudice it’s a trump card
On my lampard chale I’m so frank
Give you the blues who is who? go rank
Don’t measure your pen with mines, you pantomime and asinine
And you wanna be king? Get your ass in line
These no be bars I’m just passing time

REFRAIN
Chale i dey,I just chock it
Laughing hard till there are tears in a bucket
Some of my peers spineless they are muppets
Always nodding like a lizard, damn it, agama…
Yo
What’s a king to a god mc?
Numero uno, that be me

VERSE 2
You no be star no be star, you’re a comet at best
Don’t ask me no questions, no comment; i rest
Tell the fashion police they can make an arrest
These boys copying the west looking a mess
It’s retarded, tell will.i.am to get me started
I got a strong will, i am the prime target
Go to the market, buy yourself manners
Don’t use my name in vain, that’s just for starters
Hors d’oeuvres i got some nerve
On my Djokovic fear me when i dey serve
Ghanaians so concerned about diplomas and awards
Titles and the bible, i find it absurd
Went from inspector Bediako to Khumkhum Bhagya
Progress or regress? now who you calling sucker
When the boss is around who can you boss around?
We some intelligent niggas that cannot dumb it down
Even my nonfa back then had sense in it
Difference between me and them? you’re sensing it
My talent, my vision, where i come from
Just a couple of things you put respek on
I’m a rare breed no wonder i’m in rare form
All the m.anifans know that i’m there for ‘em
I’m in rare form, madinafour know sey i’m there for them

REFRAIN
I just chock it
Laughing hard till there are tears in a bucket
Some of my peers spineless they are muppets
Always nodding like a lizard, damn it, agama…
Yo
What’s a king to a god mc?
Numero uno, that be me

VERSE 3
Dem dey claim pure gold but dem be copper
Don’t compare a name dropper to a showstopper like me
You ain’t’ gotta like me broda
Only 5 10, but the flow be t-taller
Afro trapping like hoteps with dope left
Though i often write my default is to go left
W’ani aba anaa?
Vex for your corner, saa
Kidnap your ears for years now it’s stockholm syndrome
My train of thought is darker than my skin tone
I pen poems alone listening to nina simone and koo nimo
God as my witness i’m taking no prisoners
The hype machine mean, but it won’t imprison us
For the underdawgs and outlaws go get yours
Yes we dey form, no we no go conform
If you talk funny and think you’ll go scott free
Then travel safe my guy, godspeed
Nowhere cool coming soon for your cd changer
E go shatta glass ceilings, it’s a game changer
God mc never been a faker
I dey go see shatta for mahama paper
My guy obidi, let me return the favor
You know what time it is, later is greater

Tic Tac – Do All (Feat Pappy Kojo)

Once upon a time some 16 years ago, the youngest sizzling hit maker in the country, Tic Tac , who had emerged on the music scene traveled to Takoradi for a show.

Blown away by Tic Tac’s prodigy, young Pappy Kojo approached him to interact with the banger maker for inspiration.

Little did cronies know that the young man who had no intentions of beginning a career in music around the year 2000, will become one of Ghana’s favourite rappers.

The upsurge of Pappy Kojo on the music scene created an enabling environment for the two talents to clash in the studio.

This resulted in a composition of a banger dubbed “Do All”, which Tic Tac featured Pappy Kojo.
